Bible Challenge IIe is a computerized version of the Original Bible Challenge Board Game. It was completed in 2014 and never marketed. It consisted of 2100 questions and answers from and about the Bible.

The questions are divided into seven categories:

  • Old Testament
  • New Testament
  • Life of Christ
  • People
  • Places
  • Quotations
  • General
Each category includes 300 questions divided into three categories: easy, more difficult, most difficult.

Up to four players could be involved in a game. (Players could be individuals or groups of people).

Visualization was a big part of this design and color coding was used throughout this and the other God Gave His Word apps.

Selecting the option, Bible Challenge IIe Standard, will bring up the interface shown in the next frame.

This is the main interface for Bible Challenge IIe

The left frame includes:
  • The name of the players and their score
  • An analysis of the player's performance
  • The question category and point value
  • The date and time
  • A scratch pad
The center frame includes:
  • The question category
  • The Scripture reference for the question

When a question is selected, the image for the Testament where that book is located and the image for that Book are displayed. Clicking on the Testament will display the books of that testament.

Clicking on the Book will display info about that book.

Clicking "Show Book Class" will display the class where this book is found.

Reason for Displaying Images of Books and Color Coding

The Bible, Testaments, Classes, and Individual Books are color coded and displayed so that the player can become familiar with where they are located. Also, the visualization can be very valuable in helping to remember the books, how they relate to others, and their location.

When the books are displayed, their names can be shown or hidden, and the books themselves can be shown or hidden. All of this is used to be an aid in learning the names of the books, where they are located, and in which classes they can be found.

The books can be displayed as:

  • Individual Books
  • As a Class
  • As a Testament
  • As a Complete Bible Horizontally
  • As a Complete Bible Vertically
