A Little History

During church one Sunday morning in January 1983, Jim Barineau had the idea of creating a board game to teach people about the Bible and the Word of God. Work was begun and in October of that year the first Bible Challenge Board Game was released.

The first 10,000 units were produced in his home and it grew from there. Other distributors became involved and more than 500,000 copies of Bible Challenge have been distributed throughout the world.

About ten years later, the first attempt was made to publish related products on the WWW under the domain of 66books.com. Due to unexpected personal set backs, the WWW efforts had to be abandoned, the Bible Challenge design patent and Trademark for the original Board Game was lost, the 66books.com domain was acquired by another and many other "Bible Challenge" games appeared on the market.

During the following years, while Jim was away from the active distribution of the Bible Challenge Board game, he began developing other products to teach the Bible in fun, challenging, and exciting ways. The 7 Bible Games in 1 Box led to a poster, puzzle, playing cards and a book. The visualization component was added to these products to enhance the learning experience. Taking a series of computer classes at a local college resulted in computerizing the Bible Challenge Board game into a computerized Bible Challenge IIe (a computerized version of the original Bible Challenge game with many enhancements).

Around 2019 the idea came to develop a comprehensive Bible Challenge covering the entire 66 books of the Bible. Bible Challenge Q & A Format is a result. The original Bible Challenge consisted of 2,100 questions drawn from throughout the Bible. The new Bible Challenge covers the entire Bible, consists of 27,000 questions, 135,000 possible answers, and is a fantastic way to become familiar with Scripture in a way that is fun, exciting, challenging, and very educational. Many features are designed into this product.

Most of the products, designed since the first Bible Challenge in 1983, have never been released. So, NOW IS THE TIME AND WE DESIRE TO SHARE THESE PRODUCTS WITH THE WORLD.
