God's Plan For Man

The Plan

Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden carried heavy consequences. One consequence was that people would be born into sin.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God...Romans 3:23

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned...Romans 5:12

God established a plan whereby men could be saved and sin forgiven. That plan included sending Jesus to earth to pay the price for sin and to restore man's relationship with God. God presented Jesus as a sacrificial lamb to atone for our sins. If we accept the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, God forgives our sins and considers us to be righteous simply because Jesus was righteous.

Heart Of The Plan

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life...John 3:16

Plan Requirements

Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart.

If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation...Romans 10:9-10

Start The Plan

If you would like to, you can accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour right now by sincerely praying the following prayer:

Father, John 3:16 states that if I believe in Your Son Jesus, I will have everlasting life, and Romans 10:9-10 also states that if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. Therefore, in accordance with Your Word, I do now confess that Jesus is my Lord and believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I repent of and turn from all my sins. Forgive my sins, cleanse my heart and make me a new creature in Jesus' name. Amen

If you sincerely prayed this prayer, on the authority of God's Word, you are now a child of the King! Praise be to God! If you did so, please tell someone! I would also like to hear the good news!

A Suggestion

It is good for Christians to come together to fellowship, study and worship. We gain support from each other in that way. If you are a new Christian and do not have a church home, it would be good for you to locate a church where you can learn more of God's Word and receive spiritual support. (If you are unable to locate such a church, send me an email and I will try to help). Began reading and studying the Bible on a regular basis. Pray and ask God to help you understand His Word as you study. And remember, accepting Jesus as your saviour and Lord does not mean that life will be easy. You will still encounter trials and even maybe some persecution, but Jesus has promised that He will be with you - always!
